Re: passing of a pioneer

My condolences to you and Joe's family and friends. I own a Sherline CNC lathe and CNC milling machine. Both are great tools, and a tribute to Joe's vision.

"To everyone, everywhere... a Merry Christmas My Dears!!!"

Aplus.net is a reasonable host for $9.95/mo including domain name. Our company uses them, and I use them to host my personal domains. If you're looking for a free site to host the photos and other material, I might suggest Facebook. Just make sure you have your privacy preferences set to "everyone" ...

Download and install this PowerToys clone for Vista of an Image Resizer.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/phototoysclone/

Once installed, all you need do is right-click an image, select "Resize" from the resulting menu, and select a size. Done.

Re: Railroad Themed Movies

One movie I seldom see mentioned when this topic comes up is Disney's 1956, "The Great Locomotive Chase." If you like 1800's 4-4-0's and Civil War era equipment, this is the movie for you!

I also despise the digital magazines.... I can't read them in bed or on the toilet, or lay them out on my workbench while I'm building something! Digital copies are becoming more practical with the widespread availability of tablet computers. While still in their toddler stages, they are becoming m...
