Hello out there,
I am continuing to build my Big Boy locomotive in cyberspace. Working on the Alco type M 24 inch reverse gear but have come up short a few drawings.
Perhaps someone can help me find a copy of the cross-head drawing 682CA33674 And the cross-head arm 682CA33681.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Union Pacific Big Boy in 3/4 Inch Scale
Hello Richard, Thanks for you reply. I have collected all those related Modeltec articles. As you noted very few dimensions. Would you be so kind as to share your engineering drawings with me? Baring that I will have to just scale from the stuff Mr. Fitt saw fit to publish. Please let me know. I am ...

Timken 1111 (four aces)
I am beginning my research for drawings of this locomotive. I have found a listing of Tom Storey's drawings now held a the California State Railroad Museum. However before I start collecting on my own I am curious to learn if others have already done this search, and acquired some drawings. I have f...

Re: Union Pacific Big Boy 4012 in 1.5"
Hello all:
Does anyone know what is happening with dansmo?
It seems that his build log has stopped
His last activity was on Fri Jan 03, 2020 5:54 pm but I cannot contact or see what that was.
He has not responded to my private message.
Sure would be nice if he would.

Post by RICHK » Sun Jan 06, 2019 11:22 am I have downloaded all the referenced ,pdf files and viewed almost all of them. Unfortunately the larger the image the less legible it becomes. So the impressive general assemblies are not readable. Same for the frame sides, boiler, steam cylinders, and quit...

HOW TO LOCATE J HAROLD GEISSEL
I have been doing some research into the Skookum locomotive. I find that several drawings were done by J Harold Geissel who was once a frequent contributor to Model Railroader Magazine. So far I cannot find any biographical information for him. I assume he is no longer with us, however I wonder if s...
