Thanks for the info. If someone wants it they can have the set for $110.00 Personally I would rather work with cast iron, brass can be tricky to machine.

Yes I think it was Mason Locomotive. Just looked for a web site but could not find it. Another possible clue for the patterns whereabouts. If you go to YouTube and search Klamath machine locomotive Hudson or New York central Hudson the video I made a few years will /should show up. This was taken before the boiler went on.

The Waltham museum of industry located in Waltham Mass has a wooden working valve gear. Not sure if it is a baker or another. Might be worth looking into as a reference for your project.
