I have an old Bridgeport DRO made by Dynamics Research. It has about 6 dials for each number to set them individually. I plugged it in once and it does light up. Will this work for you?

Re: Sound Systems for Diesel Outline / Electric Powered Loco
Last year I got a deal on a Decho RS-3 unit but I discovered I had a bad amplifier in it when I got to power it up. I stripped out everything and put a Dallee unit in it with their 22 watt amplifier and it sounds good. I hope it will sound better after I replace the aging speakers. All of the sounds...

Re: Workshop Heat
I have a through-the-wall heat pump in my reasonably well insulated shop/garage. It takes a while to get things toasty at times, but overall performs quite well. Re: Allen Mogul Solid Frame Question
Hi Bill, I, too, am building my first locos. There is an area where the spring rigging needs to pivot off the bottom and the spreader plate needs to be lowered. I'm using the Loco Parts pilot truck and had to make a spacer for that too. It seems like you are building the plate frames from scratch an...

Re: Allen Mogul Solid Frame Question
The only reason I can think of to have the bolt on style cylinder bars is if you want to convert to a 10 wheeler down the road. Otherwise the welded way works fine. I have both styles of Rogers/Cooke frames on the 2 Moguls I'm building (occasionally). If you haven't figured it out yet, there is a li...
