I have a grizzly 9729 combo. It blew the capacitors so I got new ones they blew also. The motor still works without them. It's been used for years without them and no problem. If it till runs just run it.

Take a look at the plate your change gears are mounted. There is a unused slot. Make an axle for a idler gear to mount there and use one of your smaller change gears as an idler that will reverse the rotation of your leadscrew. I made one and have turned lefthand threads

Has anyone built a leadscrew reverse for the Grizzly 11x26? My friend bought one and that was one thing he wished it had so he could turn in both directions.

I have melted brass in a propane torch canister with the top cut off. I melted 22 cartrige cases. The first try just burned up the brass so I mixed the cases with pulverized charcoal briquetts. Then I was able to pour it into moulds. I surrounded the canister with fire brick and heated it with weed ...
