Re: How Low Can I Go

Remove the compound and make a plinth that bolts to the cross slide in place of the compound for the QCTP to sit on that is the correct height to get the insert on center.

Re: Quest for Simple (Poor-Mans) AutoCad

I've been using Solid Edge 2D for years and just love it. It's free 2D CAD only. The 3D version costs money.

Re: Opinions on the Grizzly G0731?

Also, the G0678 is for 3 phase power which I won't have access to. Steve It doesn't require 3-phase input. Per the description on Grizzly's web site for that mill. " And it’s controlled by a state of the art Yaskawa frequency drive. No need for 3-phase here, folks! Hook it up to your 220 volt, sing...

Re: CAD suggestion for seal killer

Re: Anyone using a variable frequency drive phase converter

Ken....good tip. I will read thru some previous threads on this. In terms of using an "oversize" VFD this is something I have heard before....not the first time. Would be a bit cheaper if I didnt need to purchase an oversize converter. You don't need to purchase an over-sized VFD as long as the one...
