Re: Open Source GE 44 ton 1.6" Diesel locomotive

I've changed my mind (again) got tired of the old one LOL I''m going to 2" scale and 7 1/4 gauge, a friend has loaned me an April 1973 Model Railroader mag that has a center fold the GE 44 tonner, the nice part about 2" scale is just double all the feet into inches , such as 30' = 60" almost to easy.

Re: Engine Cleaner (exterior)

I've reread all the replies and not once does it use the word gasoline as a cleaner it says "diesel" which has a very high flash point unlike gasoline.

Re: GE 44 tonner

A friend had the April 1973 Model Railroader which has as the center fold a GE 44 tonner which is a measured drawing , so if I decide to go 2" scale do I just multiply the feet times 2 example 29' X 2 = 58" . my brain is just not being friendly lately.

GE 44 tonner

I've looked and found nothing, so if I use an HO engine which is 1/87 and I want to go up to 2 1/2" scale how much do I multiply the 1/87 ratio to get 2 1/2" scale

If these are for you all well and good, if for another person don't charge them and if asked you never saw them.
