Mike your photos are terrific as always. It was nice to meet your dad. I wish I would have spent more time with him. To busy runnun' the loco. Who was the woman with the video camera on the tripod? Would love to see her shots.

Bench Seat
I'd like to build a bench seat running the length of my flat car. Any suggestions about seat width and height? Padding and fabric?

Re: 3" scale D&RG inspired boxcar
Hi Mike
The car is lookin' good. You and your dad do very impressive work. I like your " selective compression" approach to design. Whose turnbuckles did you use and what size are they? Tell us about your framing lumber. I look foreword to double heading with you someday.

Whistle
Some questions around the track about how to modulate a steam whistle like the full size locos. Most of our models seem to be on or off. Is it the whistle or the valve? If the valve can it be modified? Any ideas?

Re: New year, new project...restoring a 'Wendy'
Looking good Mike. What is/will you use for coal grate material? CRS, HRS, stainless? Hope to double head with you at Bitter Creek when you are done.

Re: Engine House Photos
WOW Jack, what a transformation from that pile of dusty stuff I saw in your shop the other day. I feel like I can walk right up to the caboose and climb aboard. Thanks again for the visit.

Patrik
Thanks for the compliment, yes the loco is mine. I think you could build a C-16 in any scale if you can find a few castings to use. You just need to be creative, but that's what so many of us find fun about the hobby.
