Hi Dave, I also built an A3. I've been firing it happily on a 50:50 mix of the Penn Keystone coal as noted in the link above, and some Welsh coal I ordered from a The Train Department as linked above. I have to sort through the Penn coal to remove any chunks that are too hard, and then break it dow...

I seem to recall a thread on this site, but I can't find it after much searching. The poster took a pressure gauge apart, changed the paper with the numbers to give it an older look with different markings and font. I think they also made some other changes but I can't remember what. That may be so...

Utah visit

Hi all,

We will be visiting our daughter and family In Park City Utah for Christmas and New Year. Just wondering if there is any Live Steam activity in the Park City / Salt Lake City area.
