I placed an order a few months ago to coles and called dec 12 and they said they would have them sent by christmas. Still waiting... I did hear that they were broken into and alot of stock was taken so they had to machine alot of new pipe fittings.

Bill gave the answers you really want to know, the first was thT copper prperties drop off significantly with higher pressures and the tempatures asociated with and you need to know your local laws governing operation to make sure your operating within the legal limits for liability. On our 1/4 size we have an american model engineering mechanical lubricator and we used to use the sapo-a-max 460 but it is a little thick so we got a few gallons of the 320. The 460 is great for bigger engines. For oil on everything else use the same brand pb&j oil. It is super tacky but you ma...

Locomotive weight/ bore size to determine tractive effort
A while back I found the calculations to determine the weight a locomotive needs to be or to size down the bore of the cylinder to just be able to quarter slip, I did a search and couldn't find it. Could someone point it out or enlighten me?

They only have it listed as a complete set in the book. But if you can get them to answer I bet they could get you just the 4 wheels.
