Re: Need Glue to replace Liquid Nails

The "Liquid Nails Extreme Heavy Duty" version and the Locktite brand "Power Grab" both seem to good for their intended use. I did a comparison test while putting some wood trim in a camping trailer. Wood to fiberglass and wood to wood. So far both are holding OK. If anyone is interested I'll try to ...

Re: I Created a Smooth Bore With a Tap

3/4" taps are a beast. Even 3/4-16 in aluminum is not easy so that coarse thread in cast iron must have been

Re: NPT Pipe Threads - another can of worms?

That doesn't look like a pipe thread to me. A pipe thread would be cut with a die, not single pointed and would be tapered. Re: Basic question on mill part setup - part origin

From a manual control viewpoint; I hardly ever look at the sign on the readout on the Bridgeport. I just KNOW which direction I'm going to move and do so.

Re: Update on Soft Jaws

Mr. Ron: My apologies but my tooling alter ego kicked in and is offering this alternate design that might make it easier to replace your soft jaw usable portion. You may not be able to read the small drawing, but the 4 SHCS are #10 and the set screw is a 1/4. With this design or a similar one that ...
