You only need 350-400 * F to break the bond ,try a electric heat gun .

I assume you have removed it from the wall? Impact driver you hit with a hammer is what you need, use it before you screw up the screw! As long as the screw head is above the surface cut a slot with small cut off wheel or hack saw.

Most DRO's can be set to show both depth of cut or radius cut depth ie diameter reduction. I have Travel Dial on one lathe for saddle travel and a long travel dial indicator for the cross side. Newall is the best if you can stand the cost,their mounting brackets are the best for ease of installing.A...

SOLD !! Lot of 9 re-sharp carbide heck of a deal IF you can use 1" shank stuff. Smallest .875 most in the .970-.990 range .All are sharp about half still in the wax,1 ball nose. Anyway $40 shipped.

Head stock and lathe bed. Scrap iron if that is all that is there,not much hope of making anything useful from that . Cost more in time and effort than the result is worth. Could very well be some special purpose made machine.

Right Ron no issue when using a collet as long as the collet is in the spindle and not in some form of threaded on chuck.
