Re: my project

Yes Ma'am indeed, pirates they are.
Look in the dictionary under scum of the earth,
you'll see them just below it.
In a couple of months then it will have come to pass, hold that thought and keep on going in the meantime.

Re: my project

Hey Pam,
we all are behind here and there on things, we're behind on watching your progress too....
so at least you aren't behind those clowns anymore.
Have fun in the shop in morning,

Re: Annual International Meet - Montreal

It was a blast. A few hours driving up and back, and many great hours driving while there. Two nice tracks for tooling around on, and some blazing along on the high-line. So many nice 3/4 engines there that the steaming bays were full practically all of the time, and there was a parade out on the ra...

Re: Fabricated Cylinders

Steve,

there are dimensions in the Modeltec article that could give you an idea for ballparking what you want,
it's a bolt-up,
..maybe along with Jan's construction with slides,
this is what I am contemplating,...

if you can't find the article I could mail you copies of it,

Re: Fabricated Cylinders

Steron,

Have you seen the article on it by Tim Olson in the May 93 issue of Modeltec?
Put runners thru the plate, and porting in a block on top of it, for a slide valve in a chest..

PVLS,..fortunate

Sorry to hear of the damage out in Michigan,
and certainly for all of the folks out south of you recently,...
the first touchdowns yesterday were just a few miles east of our place...
