Glad that you all were able to come visit and ride Dan, Welcome anytime, you had some great help with those guys, it seems we all had a pretty nice laid back weekend, and there was plenty of stuff steamed up for sure, and lots of riding gotten in. Re: PVLS photos up

That B&O switcher is the one Phil Wunder built,
really nice nice work,
He was glad to give the owners some pointers.
there were two docksiders there this weekend though-
the other was the one that needed a freshening up a couple years back, done by Scott and Ken and it runs well, regularly.

Re: my project

opposite coasts,
you get to stay in the shop three hours later than we do,
in the morning, usually before I even look at email,
I look to see what you have done on the beasts,
grinning as the pictures of your work and setups come up.

Re: Crown Sheet Height

a couple of pictures and some numbers now that they're out of hibernation Matt, Looking in the door you see the crown is just above the upper row of tubes, (and a few little spots I just took the oxidation from,) while the front with the tape shows about 4 inches above the crown sheet to the inside ...

Re: Pioneer Valley Live Stemers Steam-UP April 30 - May 1

Not sure if that's the rain and wind out there or something whining and chattering. We turned on the water yesterday, raked up the end of fall, cleaned out the shop and the pit, pulled the first new track panel from the new fixture, cleared the tracks, the ground and hi-line got ridden, sat by the f...
