Re: Mikado Logger 2-8-2 AutoCAD drawings

Did Railroad Supply sell these drawings in AutoCad?

Re: Picture showing 3.5" gauge, 5" gauge, and 7.25" gauge?

I am looking for a picture showing all three track different gauges in use. Admittedly, if the models were all of standard gauge prototypes then it would mean the models would be 1/16, 1/12, and 1/8 scale.

Thanks!

The F.A.M. markers are really sharp. I own a pair.

GWR-
I defer to you on this. However, after reading Garden Railways magazine going back to 1986 (admittedly, written by Marc) and a bunch of Garden Rail magazines I admit that those influenced my opinions on the matter.

Wow, those are two complex engine designs to jump into for your first (and perhaps second) build! I wish you luck. It can be done, but the road ahead will not be easy.

Re: Locomotive Driver Help

GWR: all that you said is true. It is interesting though that in the UK many if not most of the Gauge 1 live steam engines are actually models of narrow-gauge prototypes, are scaled 16mm = 1', and usually tank engines of some sort of the 0-4-0 and 0-6-0 varieties. Here is a great website showing man...

Re: Plans for 15" gauge passenger cars

I don't have any to offer, sorry. But, if it were pure "riding cars" I would imagine that others here could comment on ones they have built. I don't recall seeing scaled up "model" passenger cars.

Re: Plans for 15" gauge passenger cars

Are you looking for 15" passenger cars that look like scaled-up real, prototypical passenger equipment? Or are you looking for "riding cars" that you might have at an amusement park that are solely designed to carry people which run on 15" gauge track?
