Re: Amazing machine work

Nope!

The only one I have is Kay, and she has been working with me for over 20 years. She can do just about anything, but she is only a year younger than I am.

I got to play with the XP-82 “Twin Mustang” today.

It’s pretty interesting!

Re: Motor for my Craftsman 101.07301

I would think just a 1/2 hp 1725 rpm NEMA 56 Frame capacitor start motor.

No, the engine was shipped to Minnesota.

Actually, both Mustangs in the video have my engines in them.

Re: Tool holder cross reference source?

Those are milling inserts.

I have an R-8 shanked face mill that uses them or 322's, can't remember which, so I'll see if it has an identifying number on it.

Re: Amazing machine work

These didn’t have a recommended overhaul time due to the nature of their use. (Combat) The later variants did have a time though and that was 1450 hours.

Re: Name That Tool (v4)

I used them here to hold a cast iron bar for surfacing in order to surface the entire bar without toe clamps in the way.

Re: Name That Tool (v4)

Top one is a 1/16” pin punch that is broken off.
Second is a pair of keyway broaching bushings.
Third are Mi-T-Bite fixture clamps.

Re: ER Emergency Collets

…and there is nothing fast about opening and closing ER collets in comparison to a 5C lever actuated collet closer for lathe production work.

Amazing, but not surprising!

I had little doubt that you would succeed.
