Re: Bagley burner install

The IBLS website has the proper documentation written by Dick Bagley himself regarding installation of his Sheedy style oil /atomizer burner. Search for "Bagley oil burner" on the IBLS websight. Link pasted below.

Re: Cylinder castings

If you are so inclined to invest in some sand and binder and core paste you could ram the mold and make the cores. You could paste the entire assembly together leaving only the cope to be closed. Take it to the iron foundry and simply ask them to cut the gates and risers and close the mold and pour ...

Re: Baking Cores

I have not heard of anybody baking cores for years! Are you making traditional oil sand cores? If so you need to bake them on a flat surface if the core is flat. If it has an irregular shape you will have to make what is called a "bedding frame". The bedding frame gets rammed with green sa...

Re: injector problem

Sometimes a bad air leak at the water valve packing is the culprit. As I recall that is when I have always paid the "fun" fee! Just find the registration booth and they will trade your $5 for a guest badge I think. Always a good group of people at Chula Vista. :D

Re: WTB Railroad Warehouse SS Couplers

If you have no luck finding the old RR Warehouse couplers I would suggest contacting Dave Bortz at Superscale. He has some very high quality SS Couplers that are the original Buckeye couplers Ollie Dodson made years ago. Optigman :D

Re: Dummy Duplex Pump 1 1/2" scale

Sorry I have no information on the 3D printed pump that I sold on this form. It was on an engine I acquired and I replaced it with a working pump. I had it sitting around for a year and had no need for it. Wish I could be the bearer of better news regarding the origins of the dummy pump!

Sorry, I did not make the pump. It was a dummy that I replaced with a working pump.
