We'll just have to disagree then. It's just more of a cut than I feel comfortable with on my 8520, especially with a shell mill (1-1/2"?).

Did I get that right? .30 depth of cut? I don't cut much aluminum , but I,d still never take that much bite in any material. Engravers often see to use V-bits - see www.bitsbits.net for examples, prices and probably some technical info. You could also try the New Hermes web site - they probably sell bits as well.
