the gauge would be directly related to your ability to twist them.. I will be using 22-24 gauge. 20 may be the max i would use

I used to oil the rails on the stand but it was still hard on the wheels etc. this is the latest version test cart, I can adjust the rollers for different wheel arrangement.

I don’t think my explanation was understood. I said to lightly knurl and then FINISH the part. The finishing cuts down the tops of the knurls and restores the accuracy of the slip fit between the parts, so the alignment is preserved, but provides space between them for the loctite to work. look int...

knurling is not the best of option for anything outside of making handles

I have thought about this very issue, I put one up front and the other on the rear,, the rear is easy, but front may just get a rod up to the running board.. i will be interested to see what you come up with

Are you also using Barry's 3 way drain valve??....,it works good ....but I have found on big locomotives....like my mikado....,it's a long line from the drains to the 3 way valve.....and I have about a 30 second delay, between closing the valve, and the cylinder drains popping open....I think the b...
