Lathe student

Thank you gentlemen for your welcome and information. I have heard "How to run a lathe by South Bend" is a great book. I have one book titled "The amateurs lathe" by L.H. Sparey, a little wordy but not bad. I learn better by doing but the reading is necessary for the right things...
