Re: Steam outline design

Most "tracks" don't consider a propane fired steam engine to be any more dangerous than a BBQ grill. I'd rather run an electric than use propane, just a personal preference. I considered individualy sprung journals first, but wasn't sure if the lack of equalization would affect traction or...

Steam outline design

Contemplating building an electric ten wheeler for those burn ban days around here. What would be a good design for suspension and/or equalization if I don't have to go with the prototypical leaf spring setup? Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks,

Roy will certainly be missed by all that knew him. He put in a lot of effort and had a huge passion for the hobby and was a great guy. The Pickard family wants everyone to know that the Spring Fling at the Comanche and Indian Gap will continue as planned next week with a memorial service planned for...

3 to 4 plus years. And no offer to get money back. They've got great stuff in their catalog, and some people seem to have better luck getting it. Oh well. Darren McNeely what do you have on order? Started with a Dash 9 and two gondolas and went downhill from there. Never got the Dash 9, the ...

Hey Singleshot, Give me a shout when you're able, and we'll get you introduced at the AS&NT. It's the closest 7 1/2 track to Dallas, and we've got a great bunch of guys that meet out there Wednesdays and Saturdays. The SWLS Spring Business meet is actually this weekend out at Terry McGrath's bea...

This page has a picture of the driver castings next to a copy of Kozo's book.
