Is the "KB" actually a "VB"? Mr. VanBrocklin (Bill) used to stamp his products "VB", and he may have numbered them. Your injector looks like it's cast, and the VanBrocklin injector that I once owned was built from stock. So, I am not sure. The injector's piping (the &qu...

Hello Mike, and group...

What's next, depends on whether or not people purchase what I have available.

If I have no customers, however, I have a very long list of what "won't be next" :(

Thanks for your interest.

Photo of H.J. Coventry 1" scale 4-4-0 castings

Hello, group: Attached is a photo of some of the castings I have developed for the H.J. Coventry 1" scale I-6 class 4-4-0 "American". They are placed on a copy of the erection drawing, so you can see what the engine looks like. These castings are available for sale directly, or on eBa...

Re: 3.5" Gauge Suppliers

I keep seeing threads/random pictures or catalog references to Yankee Shops. I'm curious, is there a Catalog scan with some pictures of there models? Who has the patterns if they still exist, and could someone give me the Company History. YANKEE SHOP did business in Danvers MA from about 1938 or so...

Once again thanks for all the comments. This topic has taken a turn that I could not have predicted it would, what with patterns and prototyping, wax, lost wax, found wax :), missing wax, etc. being discussed. Just want to thank you once again for taking the poll and for bringing the discussion to w...

Unofficial, non-binding 1/2" scale (2-1/2" gauge)

Dear Group: Thanks for participating in my 3/4" scale poll (elsewhere on this forum). Here is another poll, unofficial and non-binding, to gauge the general level of interest in coal-fired 2-1/2" gauge live steam. If you answer YES, please elaborate on why you chose yes, by contacting me a...

Unofficial, non-binding 3/4" Scale Survey

Dear Group: I'd like to conduct an unofficial, non-binding 3/4" scale survey, to gauge peoples' opinions on a "rebirth" of 3/4" scale, by seeing what they would buy if it was available. There are no right or wrong answers, nothing's for sale, and this is, at the moment, strictly ...

Received my 1st issue of this new publication within a few days of paying with PAYPAL. It is reminiscent, to me, of early publications such as The Miniature Locomotive back in the 1950s. Same feel; similar format. Its publication also reminds me of how Pershing "Scotty" Scott, and William ...
