I have the complete set of Timken 1111 drawings from the CSRM. the set is very complete including booster drawings. Should be every thing you need to build a model. Ed

The Pennsylvania RR did some built up cylinder blocks from welded steel and some drivers. All of my locomotives except for a 15" gauge shay have welded steel cylinder blocks with brass liners .The cylinders have hydraulic cylinder teflon rings. The valves have automatic transmission seal rings....

The AC-10,11 & 12 were all about the same. The AC-9 used a lot of parts such as drivers,rods etc as the AC 7 thru 12. The boiler was 3 inch's larger in dia ( 109 1/8 inch's). The AC-9 used multiple bearing guides instead of alligator. The CSRM has most of the drawings but are missing the Lima in...

The timken covers were scaled (1.593" = 1 ft.) from original drawings. They are 2.13 wide. If I can find someone to cast them for me I will make them available. I also have them 1.887 wide. Suitable for tender and diesel trucks. Ed

In the perfect world the spring rigging on our models would take care of any vertical variations in the track keeping the weight perfectly distributed.
