I just had the cylinder heads off of our 1.5" consolidation (3" cylinder bore), due to a blown gasket. It has the same lubricator as you described only it uses one large tank to oil both cylinders. The cylinders showed no wear, the engine is also older than me around 48 yrs old. I have had...
