Re: Railroad Mishaps & Derailments

Oops! Wayne Godshall's 2-10-2 at CSPPRY back in the spring. The switch in the background had a worn out frog and wheel flanges were riding up over it. If I remember, it took three of us about 30 minutes to re-rail her. springMeet052012_02.jpg I bet, that really came off there. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Quality Live Steam Videos

These presentations can serve well as learning tools for some folks, which might be lost if your recommendation was to be followe...

Re: Discover Live Steam Conventions

I went to the first convention at the Mill Creek Central, and I got to say, I think that was the most well attended and organized. Maybe I am just being one sided though, as I live near the Mill Creek Central and visit pretty often. Yeah, from what I've seen in videos, the Mill Creek convention loo...

Re: Quality Live Steam Videos

Did you use a SLR for video? Down the road a camera stabilizing rig will add greatly to removing the camera shake. I like the quality of the videos, very crisp and detailed. May I suggest you use a heavier hand in editing out the non interesting stuff. I found myself skipping all around the videos....
