Re: large scale Sunbeam headlight

I have this for sale on another group, and I've gotten a few questions re; what scale it is..
It will fit on a 2-1/2”, 3” or 3-1/2” scale locomotive..
However, since it was built with a 4” diameter tube, it may not look right on a “smaller” 2-1/2” scale locomotive..

Re: Lake Shore Live Steamers

John, do you know what the minimum radius is on the elevated track at NEOLS? I have a 1" 4-8-4 chassis that I'd like to track test and I'm curious to see how sharp a curve it will be able to negotiate. Rob Gardner Rob, Sorry but I don’t know it off hand... I’m thinking it should be fine though..

Re: propane question

If you can submurse the tanks in a water bath it will help to keep them from freezing up. If the tender is large enough that would be ideal since it keeps getting refilled with warmer water. Or a tank around the bottles could be drained and refilled when refilling the tender if the water is getting...

Re: Fire to crown sheet distance

So should the front row of burners point slightly back? I'm using 6 marty burners, three rows of 2.. I can angle the front row back towards the firedoor, so that they aren't pointing right at the angle on the SS arch.. Or am I overthinking this?
Thanks...

These copy the “Marty” design, but smaller...
