Re: New Project-Little Engines New Northern

Got my mill up and running and started my first project with it. Started work on the pedestal binders. Got all 8 cut and milled to length. Next is to drill mounting holes. Also received the drivers and journal boxes back from Andy Pullen. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c121/boogie5strg/59a304d3-8...

Re: Fun new youtube video of Train Mountain

Great video Russ. So far in my short time I've had a lot of fun but the most fun I've had has been at TM. So much so we plan to relocate to that area in the near future.

Re: Got My Mill

Yeah thanks from me also. It's always nice to know these things up front. I have it in place but am waiting for a neighbor to install a 220v outlet for me this coming weekend.

Got My Mill

I originally ordered a Grizzly GO755. The in stock date came and went and being faced with not knowing how much longer I would be waiting I made a change. In the meantime I was able to raise my budget and since they were in stock I went with the GO731 knee mill. I didn't get the DRO but I am plannin...

Re: New Project-Little Engines New Northern

Been slow going due to summer but things should be picking up now. I had Andy Pullen do my Drivers, axles and journal boxes to speed things up some. Today I did some clean up on the Spring Equalizer Bearings. All 3 are ready to notch, drill/tapp and cut slots. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c121/...

Re: Rap bikes at train mountain

Yes they have a railbike at Train Mountain. Only one that I saw that is theirs. I have seen a few others that are similar but built by others. Here is a short video of my wife riding it at Train Mountain

Re: Current impression of Grizzly G8689 mill?

Awesome Dianne. Glad you found something that will work for you. I am waiting for a Grizzly GO755 to be delivered. I have already bought some accessories to go with it. I'm looking forward to being able to learn and work at home instead of always having to go to my buddies.
