The Maryland code was basically written by CALS and adapted by the state of MD back in the late 80' or early 90's. I think that some other clubs have also adapted the same basic code. where is this rough and tumble show located? Kinzer, PA. Just east of Lancaster, PA on US rt 30. I think that they are open year round but the best tine to go is during the annual Old Thrashersman Reunion usually the middle of August. Runs Wednesday thru Saturday. The Chesapeake & Allegheny Live Steamers in Baltimore http://calslivesteam.org/ made a router table to mill out the slots for tie plates. It uses two routers controlled by a foot switch and a frame that holds 10 ties which are then dragged over the router bits to mill out the slots. I'll try to ...
