I have found that I am constantly switching back and forth between a rotary table and a vise. And I havent found any easy solution to the problem, aside from building a small table just next to the column of the mill- where I can easily crank the mill table up to it, matching height, and just slide...

i dunno....when i make a pot of gumbo now, it definitely ain't for poor people. shrimp, oysters, crabs ain't cheap anymore. i usually get fish myself, so.......last one we made we put in alligator that my buddy hunts...now you're makin' me hungry......

i used to live in NOLA, and i forget?.....did you coona$$s have stone crabs? we dive for them on the fla. west coast around bridges and such. hard to beat a big stone crab claw.... but blue crab in a big pot of gumbo is also a beautiful thing.......always take a carton of cigs and some extra beer on...

Rolling papers tend work too as they come in at 1mil~ or so consistantly, you just feed VERY slowly while pulling on the paper slightly and moving it back. when it tears/rips when you pull on it, you know your dead on :) plus they are about 1 cent a paper. sorry, but i ain't brave enough to hold a ...

i took apart an old feeler gauge, and use the .005 leaf. you can use a cut up beer can too.(and you get to drink the beer). put the cutting edge over a suitable location, then raise the knee till the tool just bites into the feeler gauge and you can slide it out. there's .005..... i do this w/the kn...
