Re: Water strainer

Carl, if it was good enough for my '68 Mustang, it is good enough for my 1" LE 0-6-0....the same filter. Looked up Spectre inline filters, they will catch particles down to 40 microns.

Re: Brushless Motor Controller

Fender, I have a 350 watt scooter motor in one of my 1" scale locos. I use this controller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/500W-24V-DC-Speed-Controller-w-Reverse-f-go-Kart-Quad-eATV-eCart-Electric-Motor-/162601558782 Handles very well. Has reverse. Cheaper than the scooter site. Easy to wire, you wil...

Was looking at EE 1” scale injector. It has options of 3/16” or 1/4” on all connections.

Injector piping question

Is it better to have all of the steam/water supply lines the same size or different? Looking at old LE plans, they say 3/16 steam valve to 5/32" tubing to the injector. Water is 3/16 in, combined out is 5/32, reduced to 3/16 to boiler valve. Looking at several injectors online (Reeves, EE, and ...
