Built the 2x10 ramp first,with a 2x4 stop at the bottom. Used a come-along as a holdback and slowly notched the largest parts down the ramp.
Had the engine crane waiting at the bottom to position them.

This is going good Nels. I think your approaches have been sound. the deal with the screw and gib was different but who knows about the knee. This info you/ we share may be useful to somebody else. I'm going to tell you to have some hoist around that knee and it will go easier. It doesn't have to b...

Ok, thanks John. I will remove the sensitive feed assembly and just use the small Albrecht. Was hoping to also use the finger feed as a quill, rather than raising and lowering the table. Both the spindle and finger feed are male, so I didn't think there was a way to do it. Just wanted to check and b...
