Bob
Web site is http://members.tripod.com/bobherder. He now has six kits that he sells. Working on the 1905 Air Cooled Domestic, prints are tough, you have to do a "will it fit" in a lot of areas. The hopper water cooled was drawn by some else, and drawings look good, but have not started the ...

Domestic
Bob Herder bought the rights for the hopper cooled 1/2 scale Domestic. He has a web site, and is selling the kit, but this engine kit is not listed yet.
Hire Hand was bought, but he is not making kits yet. Had his address, but lost it.
Lill Brother did not sell. so that may be the end of it!

Casting Kit
To date I have found out two things about the kit: 1. The kit's name is New Holland, which they quit making about 10 years ago. 2. They make the kit in two sizes, this is the smaller, with 4 inch flywheels.

Casting Kit
I bought a Breisch/Peters casting kit, but have a problem, the drawings were not with the castings. It is a small kit, as body is only 7" long, and about 4" high. As they are no longer in business, does anyone have a set of drawings for this kit, that I could buy/borrow?

The oilers in the old engines had a check ball, in the base to pevent blow back. Most model engine types do not have the check ball. Got one from Debolt Machine and it has a check ball. Starting out, getting rings to fit can be a problem. One thing I do is use a double seal o-ring, not cast iron rin...

Casting Kits
Breisch/Peters had some kits that I thought would be nice to build, but they no longer in business. With that started checking out what kits were available. I sent 15 letters to address’s found on the web sites saying, they sold casting kits and received six replies. Two of which said they did not h...

I bought the kit from Cliff Shrock, at Men Metal And Machine show this year. Cliff had a store in Portland, but due to having a stroke, was closing the store. He found the kit as he cleaned out the store, and brought it to the show to sale. It is an all cast iron kit, and as hot tube kits are not ve...

Primus Burner
The Robinson engine calls for a Primus BJ 8842 burner, to heat the hot tube, which the USA distributor does not stock. They only sell the Primus camp stoves. They still make the burner over seas as "Google" has hits for it. Has anyone made the Robinson 1/2 scale from Alyn Foundry, and what...
