There are two for the two crew members in the cab. On for the engineer and one for the fireman.

How in the heck do I get paint to stick to bronze??? I did everything I thought to do, blast clean, wipe down, etch prime and paint. Still chips away like nothing was done. Any more ideas. Yeah let me clarify. Yes the springs help in train handling as well. But since none of thes cars will be riden on just wondered if the springs make a diffrence.

I was wondering what you guys think about what to use in shank couplers? Im using the super scale shank couplers on a few cars and was wondering whether or not to put the springs in them. How to make realistic leaf springs
Having never done this can somone please shed some light on how to build realistic looking leaf springs? What type of material used etc. They are for a caboose so they won't need to function except for holding the trucks together. Pictures of some you guys have buit would be great.

Can some tell me what the driver dia is for Allen's 10 wheeler? Also does anyone know what a complete set of castings run now? Can you get them fairly easily? Any info would be great.
