Re: Live Steam Clubs in Europe?
You pay the IRS because you are "citizens". Citizen was a Roman term that means state owned slave. You are a "citizen" by contract. No contract, no citizenship. The rich are not citizens, and they do not need permission, nor do they ask permission to travel and live where they wi...

Re: IS our hobby dying in Canada?
IS our hobby dying in Canada? Yes. IS our hobby dying in the USA, Yes. IS there something wrong with the livesteam hobby? No. IS there something wrong with the world that is preventing the hobby? Yes. "Why" and "What" are the questions you need to be asking, and asking and asking...

Re: Arborway TT & Northwestern Railroad Disposition
This scenario played out recently with some 1 1/2" scale stuff I knew about. Original builder/owner died, and his widow was wanting a mint for his equipment. She was asking about 2X what comparable stuff was going for at the time for his stuff. She would not drop the price any, and thus it all...

Re: Arizona Grand Scale Railway Society
1/3 scale ...? What: flange, check gauge, back to back, etc.? A 5/12 scale loco (3' narrow gauge on 15") , and also a 3" scale (3/12) loco, will probably not run through turnouts and frogs made to 4" scale (1/3) track standards. There isn't much room to play with different scale in th...

Re: Kubota diesel engine
There was one with a Kubota 3cyl, up at the guys who had the 2.5" NG stuff in CA, at the Flint Ridge & Portola (closed now all gone). It was an SP #1 "little giant", looked like an RMI loco, not sure who built it. Its in Mike Massey's videos. http://www.mikemassee.com/

Re: Stolen Locomotive Parts Recovered
Are those the 3" scale Seymour Johnson Hudson brass/bronze parts? There were a few sets of those up at the Santa Margarita Ranch. I guess some thief got into the container.
