Dont see it very often on this side of the pond.
We have restored most of them and got them running as tourist railways.

Need to have a good memory, and be over, well, a certain age, to remember when that was commonplace here.

Apart from the pounding (hammer blow) you also have a fore-and-aft component which can, in some cases, make for an uncomfortable ride for the passengers. No, it isnt complete, although the only work still required is, apparently, the inlet pipes and some incidental bits. I would bet that these parts are virtually complete and that the finished, and working, model will be at the ME Exhibition at Sandown in December, where, i am certain, it will win an...
