It looks to me like the hole opposite the sight glass should be at the very bottom of the sight glass hole. That way oil would not show in the sight glass until it was at the hole or above. To fix this example, drilling a hole thru the fill hole to open a hole in the bottom of the sight glass cavity...

I have a lincoln Idealarc Tig 300 That draws 100 amps at full power. I have 4 gage wire to the outlet but have only a 60 amp breaker in the box as that was all I had. I have never tripped the breaker but then I have never used it at full power :roll: . Maybe someday when I feel rich I will upgrade t...

I'm with BadDog. I've built two myself, both with push button start. Before I added the push button start I tried spinning the idler motor with my hands as fast as I could then threw the power to the two legs of the idler and it started right up, producing 3 ph power.
