Re: Smithy 1220 XL - 1/2" indexable tool recommendations

The eyes and fingers have been making playing with 0402 resistors challenging. I can relate to the eye thing. At my last ...

Re: Drill chuck; new China or used German?

I had what I assume was a Chinese keyless chuck on my Powermatic drill press. It would self tighten to the point of me needing to use two pairs of channel locks to get it loose.

I now have a 5/8 Albrecht and the difference is night and day.

Fathers Day ideas are out

I was reading an article about what to get grandpa for Fathers Day. There were suggestions of room air conditioners, weighted blankets, books about golf courses or magic tricks and garden spades for actual work. I am 68 years old, if you all want to see me live to be 78 years old best you not sit me...

Re: Shop ventillation

You might look at in-line duct fans. https://www.amazon.com/8-inch-inline-duct-fan/s?k=8+inch+inline+duct+fan I assume you would want to evacuate fumes that are heavier than air so place your ductwork intake maybe 1' off the floor and run up and turn 90 and go outdoors. If you place the fan outdoors...

Eventually you will likely get to plan "T", where you Throw it away and get a new one. :)
