Re: 90 Ton Shop press Idea
Can I ask why 4 pieces of 2 1/2" x 1/8" tubing for your legs as opposed to a single piece of 4x4x1/2" or 6x6x3/8" or something else substantial.

Re: Stainless Rod Question
As has been mentioned before reverse polarity and run what 'feels good.' That being said I would probably be running that rod somewhere about 70-80 amps depending on what I was welding.

Thanks for taking the time to make those picture for me I don't know if it doesn't like me because I am in Canada or what but I do not have the download pdf option.
If there is something else that I am missing I would love to hear about it.

Re: Problem with an electronic train controler.
Thanks to all who put their 2 cents in. Input from others who may have been in similar situations or have worked with electronics is always good when a person doesn't know a whole lot. What is not obvious is testing with an analogue meter can load small circuit parts and harm them, while you get fal...

Problem with an electronic train controler.
I have a little Maxitrack 7 1/2" gauge locomotive that I bought last year not running and put a 24 volt VTX 75 board from 4QD late summer 2012. I had it out last year with the family for a trial run and She worked pretty good and was lots of fun. Long story short, the club I am a member at is h...

Re: Outside chamfer tool
Depending on what size you need a case deburring tool like this: http://www.lymanproducts.com/lyman/case-prep/deburring-tool.php might do the job for you at much less cost. Rick ...A reloading case tool like that probably won't cut a chamfer in steel, and only works on hollow stock... After a quick...

Re: Tig Welding of Alum. upgrade
Talk to someone at a local welding supply store. I can't comment on that machine in particular because I don't know anything about it. I know Miller has built welders for other companies under other names (Hobart is a current example). If that is the case with this machien you may be able to find so...
