Benchrest pedestal plans?

Post by savage1756 »

Does anyone know of or have plans/blurprints for a good solid pedestal or tripod for bench shooting?

I have seen them made from 1/2'' aluminum plate triangle with the corners drilled for the feet . I have a broken one that is made by Wichita I plan to use as a pattern and sand cast one.Brownells still sells them for $110

I made this one several years ago. I basically just used some pictures from the net as an example. Maybe you can look at these and it will help?
