The book is out of print and evidently not readily available

Title and Author: "Mauser M98 & M96: How to Build Your Favorite Custom Rifle" by R.A. Walsh

It has blue prints of the receiver and bolt.

If someone has a copy, I'd rent it or buy it to look at the drawings.

Nope---it has some sketches showing barrel shank diameter and headspace distance. I have the book and my copy does not contain what I would call "blueprints".
