Thanks to akajun I now know what these things are for. I had a What is this question of another item in the general forum and these two items happened to be included in one of the pics. akajun informed me that they are Sight Micrometers for the 03 Springfield so I thought I would post them here just for grins. One is a Cogswell & Harrison...The Wimbleson #657, the other is a W. Gregory & Co, London. I looked on the web and found the P.J. O'Hare model but nothing on these two.
