I built an Aluminum Cannon back in 1969 when i was station on the U.S.S. Holland AS-32 in Spain
and always wanted to build a larger one out of Brass. I found a 3 inch by 20 inch piece of Brass
the other day at a junk yard, so I chucked it up in the lathe and started turning, It came out great.
My new Cannon
Re: My new Cannon
Great looking job! Congratulations on your fine workmanship. Not being too nosey, but what did you have to pay for a hunk of Brass that size?

But She Thinks it is 50 bucks, lets leave it at that, Weman Do not Under Stand the price of metal.
