Need answers from the PRO Welder peoples

Post by RUSTER »

Good day Gentelmen ,,,

I visited a welder store last week and did talk with a 40 years experience welder person there and teacher instructor.
He did introduce me a fiew weld machine for my need ,, all this is fine and well and great info I had there.

I told him I will be back and would go see on the net what was around as machines and would make up my mind
on what my choice will be befort making any move toward purchasing a weld machine. It will be my first one
to own.

I have done welding with stick in high school ,, and I was good ,,, but it was not with MIG and it was a lontime a go.
I am not worry about welding again ,, with the new technology MIG and other style welding types ,, but I do have a
question or 2 in my mind right now for the guys that knows those welding machine very well.

Also I have peoples that do welding as everydays work (Farmer, Car shop Garage) ,, so I am not all alone when I will
get back to welding this year.

I have in my mind 2 welder machines at the moment and that are in my range of work that I"ll need for and after
seeing some shops, garages, farmers videos about those special type of welder machine and their opinions I would like to know your
opinions about those 2 following welder machines ,, If I was to get one for my self for my hobby in the train making and trailers wagon build.

How about the following and your opinions

Multimatic 215 Multiprocess Welder ,,, versatile MIG, Stick and TIG welde

How about your opinion on the one following

Rebel EMP 215ic for MIG/TIG/Stick

I would like a long lasting machine and not a cheap and easy to broke welder for my investment.
The price with the 2 is in my range and is great for my present budget ,,, thanks you for your answers and opinions Gentelment.

Good day hammermill ,,, Thanks for the head up !

So many machine to look at in todays world as welder,,, lol
I think I will go with the Miller 215 versatile unit. Everywhere I go ,,, pretty all folks have Miller in their working place
and I have seen that name everywhere since years ,, so I guess the best thing for me to do is to be a Miller guy and will
be a happy welder man for years to come.

I have found a great distributor and did meet the famely compagny there ,, they also showed me all there facility departments
and repair area ,, so I'll be in good hands with that OXY welder famely distributor store and with their Miller products they sale
and honor warrenty the name they sale to us.

Thanks again ,,, now its much clear R for me ... MILLER will be ...
