My extinguishers were just serviced last week, and are done annually.

If you need one, you need it to work!

Years ago I was TIG welding and just dropped the Acetone rag on the floor next to me thinking it would be OK. Well, it wasn't! As I was welding it caught fire and proceeded to set my pant leg on fire as well.

There are a lot of good reasons not to have video cameras in workshops.
Every hard-fried egg began life sunny-side up.

I was teaching someone TIG welding at the time...so a bit embarrassing regardless.

He' was the one that pointed out that my pants were on fire. :oops:

Solved the pants on fire situation years ago, after one of our welders didn't notice his were on fire till they were gone to his knees. Wore out frayed jeans smolder away quite easily.
Was quite a fancy dance when he finally felt the heat! :)
For his birthday, we gave him a "Personal Fire Suppression System".
Two long filled water balloons, with sting on each end, so he could tie them them to each of his legs.
