Tote-style regulators are a nice fit for medical oxygen cylinders using the CGA 540 to 870 adapter shown. You can find them online and sometimes on Ebay.
The Uniweld Acetylene regulators of this style are confirmed compatible (I emailed their customer service) with LP. They now make an adapter to use disposable propane cylinders for even more portability.
