The Home Machinist!

Picked up this tool the other day. There is no name or number on it so identification has been tough. I believe it is for rolling conical forms. The upper roller has a lever to move it up and down but doesn't lock in place. I think this would be connected to a foot pedal. Not really sure on the operation of this tool and haven't run any metal thru it yet. There is an adjustable depth fence and the small third roller can be moved in and out and up and down. Hoping someone might have some insight on it. Thanks,

Yup, Looks just like it. Little use in modeling, but sometimes its just right.

Boyd Engineering used to make one like that. When I worked there, I found some of the old blanks, but haven't seen a whole one. The one they made was built for fabricating cones to make expansion chambers for two stoke dirt bikes and karts. I still work for Walter Boyd occasionally, and I can have him take a look at your post.
