While I don't have a title at hand, if you'll visit a business that specializes in jewelry supplies, you'll find a few books that relate to investment casting. It's common procedure for jewelers (not the well dressed people behind the counter, but the benchman) to use the process, so it is well documented. What you learn from such a publication applies equally well to other products.

There is a vast amount of information available on lost wax casting.
