Medium high expansion plaster

Post by todd goff »

I need a bag of medium high expansion plaster and don't know where to find it. Well actually I did find some but I really don't need 40 bags of it. Does anyone know of a place that would sell me 1 or 2 ? I don't need a whole skid(I mean really who would?)

Found it finally, guys. A place in Charlotte will sell you individual bags for 34 bucks a bag. Better than buying a pallet at a time right?

Todd,
Can you detail how the plaster is to be used?

It is used in pattermaking to allow for expansion on a casting. Ie; you use the plaster to mold off of the casting and it is somewhat oversize once it hardens.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of that application.
