mill sharpening service
Where are/ who on the west coast sharpens mill cutters???
Re: mill sharpening service
If you need to mail them (particularly flat-rate), it might not matter what coast they are on.
Of course, if you can find a good job for a good price at a local shop, even better.

Unless I missed something, they don't sharpen milling cutters. Just drill bits, and those appear to be carbide.ken572 wrote:Ken,

I just pulled up there web site:
http://www.pointsnorthinc.com/
Look on the left and they say End Mills and also are pictured.
They don't make mention of Carbide Only and or H.S.S. Also.
It might take a phone call to find out.

Re: mill sharpening service
While there's no mention of carbide or HSS, it's pretty obvious that they deal with carbide. The sizes and description make it pretty clear, as does the maker (Kennametal). While they offer them for sale, they don't suggest they offer resharpening, unlike for the drills they sell.
I agree---if a person has interest, an inquiry would be in order.

You can buy good parts, or you can buy cheap parts, but you can't buy good cheap parts.
