There was probably a reason for this. Maybe machine tools would fit into agriculture tax relief or further confuse the situation. I can imagine a parameter of many tubers being machined to apply for a certain form and an entirely new department of tuber abuse by machinery. This is another way of registration of every machine tool into the FDA or something else. Blank Frank is in your menu, on the table and your venue.

That was just idiotic. No proper feed/speed calculation. No lube. Contact with the vise was completely inadequate and unsafe. That potato could have become a missile at any moment, and I'll just bet that guy wasn't wearing a face mask.

He should have done this on the lathe, using potato-shaped soft jaws. We'll probably hear more from Harold about that.

On a positive note, it's nice to see that Ireland now has a space program.

I kept wondering why he bothered frying the nut and bolt instead of heat treating them and frying the chips.
